Since its inception, Pragati has grown from strength to strength entirely on the support of generous individuals and organizations. Scores of eager children approach us every year and we need to reach out to them.
We would like to raise a corpus, from the interest of which we would grow further, hire more teachers, improve our equipment, and provide other amenities. To meet these and other operating costs (water, electricity, improved infrastructure etc) we request you to contribute. Please indicate towards which expense you would like to contribute, and the amount and mode of donation. Once we receive the amount, we will mail you back the receipt for the same. All donations are exempt from tax under 80G of the IT act.
Our effort is to use your money wisely, giving those most vulnerable, a chance to live a life of dignity. Together, we can work toward making a difference by helping to break the cycle of ignorance induced by poverty .
While you can donate any amount to the general expenses, the “Sponsor a child” option pledges a sum of Rs.6000 per child for the academic year. If you choose to sponsor more than one child, or specifically a girl child, please specify the details in your mail.
